More Affordable Housing Coming to Capitola!
This Thursday, April 4th, the Capitola Manor by MidPen Housing will be up for approval at the Capitola Planning Commission. Capitola Manor will add 52 homes, with a mix of 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom apartments configured in 4 buildings. It is a 100% affordable housing project on the east side of 38th Avenue, just south of the railroad crossing.
MidPen has done a LOT in Santa Cruz county, but this is their first affordable housing project in Capitola! Come speak in support of the project - the meeting starts at 6 (agenda here) and comments are only in-person at 420 Capitola Ave. You can always email any comments to planningcommission@ci.capitola.ca.us.
